Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of AscendOS, a product of Ascendapp LLC ("we," "us," or "our"), a company registered in Utah. By creating an account or using AscendOS, you agree to these Terms.

1. The Service

AscendOS provides AI-powered personal growth coaching through a subscription SaaS platform. You receive a personalized growth plan and ongoing AI coaching conversations based on information you provide.

AscendOS is designed to support your personal development journey. Use it as a thinking partner, accountability tool, and growth guide.

2. Important: AI Coaching Disclaimer

AscendOS is NOT a substitute for licensed professional therapy, counseling, psychiatry, or medical advice. If you are experiencing a mental health crisis, thoughts of self-harm, or a medical emergency, please contact a licensed professional or call emergency services immediately.

Our AI coach is designed to support goal-setting, accountability, and personal growth — not to diagnose or treat any medical or psychiatric condition. The coaching responses are generated by AI and may not always be accurate, appropriate, or complete for your specific situation.

By using AscendOS, you acknowledge that AI coaching is distinct from professional human-led therapy, and you agree to seek appropriate professional support for any mental health concerns.

3. Accounts and Eligibility

You must be 18 years or older to use AscendOS. By creating an account, you confirm you meet this requirement.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your session credentials. You agree to notify us immediately at support@ascendhigher.life if you suspect unauthorized use of your account.

4. Free and Paid Plans

Free Plan: Available to all registered users. Includes up to 3 AI coaching messages per day and a personalized growth plan.

Pro Plan ($8.88/month): Provides unlimited AI coaching conversations, full growth plan access, and daily accountability check-ins.

Why $8.88? In many cultures, 888 represents abundance, luck, and new beginnings. We chose this price intentionally — growth shouldn't require a trust fund.

5. Billing and Cancellation

Pro Plan subscriptions are billed monthly via Stripe. Your subscription renews automatically on the same calendar date each month until cancelled.

Cancel anytime: You can cancel your subscription at any time through your account or by emailing support@ascendhigher.life.
No partial refunds: We do not issue refunds for partial months. When you cancel, you retain access until the end of your current billing period.
No automatic downgrade fee: After cancellation, your account reverts to the Free Plan.

For billing issues or disputes, contact us within 30 days of the charge at support@ascendhigher.life.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use AscendOS to:

Attempt to reverse engineer, copy, or redistribute the service
Use the platform in ways that violate applicable laws
Harass, threaten, or harm others
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
Input content designed to manipulate or exploit the AI model

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

7. Your Content

You own the content you share in coaching conversations. By using AscendOS, you grant us a limited license to use that content to provide the service (including generating AI responses and maintaining your coaching context).

We do not use your coaching conversations to train AI models for third parties or sell your data. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

8. Service Availability

We aim to keep AscendOS available and reliable, but we can't guarantee 100% uptime. We may occasionally need to take the service offline for maintenance or updates. We'll try to communicate planned downtime in advance when possible.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Ascendapp LLC is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of AscendOS. Our total liability to you for any claim arising from the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 3 months preceding the claim.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms as our service evolves. We'll notify you of material changes via email or in-app notice. Continued use after the effective date of changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Utah, United States. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Utah, or through binding arbitration if mutually agreed.
